Come and explore the Sunshine Coast, BC in 3 days (guided Minivan Tour)

Day 1

We pick you up at the Langdale Ferry Terminal at 8 am. After a short drive to Gibsons, BC, we start our journey with a delicious breakfast at a local cafe. With new fuel and happy thoughts, we go for a hike to Soames Hill, to enjoy a beautiful view down to the Gibsons Marina and out to Strait of Georgia. In the afternoon, we continue up the coast to Roberts Creek and Sechelt to visit the First Nations Museum. Today's destination is the Grasshoppers Pub and Hotel in Pender Harbour.

Day 2

Today is the Princess Louisa Inlet Tour on the agenda. You will enjoy a 5 hours boat tour with incredible views to waterfalls and remote areas of this part of BC. In the late afternoon, we continue by ferry up the coast to Powell River and further up to Lund, the most northern point of the Sunshine Coast. We enjoy a wonderful meal at a local restaurant and stay over night in the Historic Lund Hotel.

Day 3

On our journey back to Gibsons, we stop in Sechelt and visit the Northern Divine Aquafarms with the world famous caviar production. If the time allows, we also stop at Persephone Brewery in Gibsons, before heading back to the ferry terminal in Langdale.

Rocky Mountains - Okanagan Valley Tour (14 days) Summer/Fall 2016

To start this guided tour, Markus takes you on a Vancouver Sightseeing Tour to show you the most beautiful spots of our pearl of the West Coast. We continue through Manning Park to Osoyos and on the Crowsnest Highway to Nelson, the jewel in the Selkirk Mountains. Optionally, we go on a short hike. Our trip takes us to German inspired Kimberley and world famous Banff. On a clear day, we might get a glimpse of Mount Assiniboine, BC's Matterhorn. Next stops are at Lake Louise, with another optional hiking possibility, and Emerald Lake with its raw natural beauty. Via Jasper with photo stops along the famous Icefield Parkways as well as the gigantic Rocky Mountains, we arrive in Kelowna, the gate to the Okanagan Valley. We enjoy the view to extended wine yards with an endless number of smaller wineries. The visit of a Naramata Bench winery is the finish of this exciting tour.

Winter Storm Watching, NHL Hockey Game and Harrison Hotsprings (12 days)

Experience a Winterstorm on the rough West Coast of Vancouver Island, walk with us the stunning Wild Pacific Trail and stroll along famous Long Beach. Are you a Hockey fan? Markus will bring you to a Vancouver Canucks NHL Game including a tour of Rogers Arena. Sightseeing Tours of Vancouver and Victoria as well as the visit of Chemainus' famous Murals are also part of this exciting Tour. To finish up our tour, we enjoy spa and wellness at Harrison Hotsprings or ski in Whistler.

Canadian West Coast Minibus Tour (9days)

Join us to our 9-days guided Minibus Tour starting in Vancouver, the pearl of the West Coast. After a Vancouver City Tour we continue to the Sunshine Coast, Powell River and to Vancouver Island. We explore the picturesque towns with its unique charme, walk along lush rainforest trails and enjoy the raw beauty of the West Coast shore line. Tour to Savary Island, Sunshine Coast (1day)

We will pick you up at Langdale Ferry Terminal (from Vancouver) or in your hotel/motel in Gibsons, BC. After the drive north to Earls Cove, we take the ferry to Saltery Bay and drive to Powell River. We continue to the scenic town of Lund, BC, the gateway to Savary Island. A water taxi takes us to the the beautiful Island with tropical climate. Rocky Mountains Tour (6 days)

FUNtastic Hikes and Tours takes you to a six day tour to the Rocky Mountains. We visit Wells Gray Park, Kinney Lake, Jasper, Pyto Lake, and the world famous Lake Louise area. Whistler Peak to Peak (1day)
FUNtastic Hikes and Tours takes you via the Sea to Sky Highway up to Whistler with its alpine charm and metropolitan ambiance. After a stroll through the village we will take the gondolas up to Whistler Mountain to a beautiful viewing point. The highlight of the day is the world famous Peak to Peak gondola, with a 3.03 km free span between ropeway towers, connecting Whistler Mountain with Blackcomb Mountain. A short hike on easy trails is optional. On the way back, we stop at Shannon Falls Provincial Park to see the 335 m fall, towering above Howe Sound. contact

Steveston Fish Market (1day)

FUNtastic Hikes and Tours picks you up in Vancouver or at a designated point in Greater Vancouver. Together we drive in a SUV/Van through the city of Vancouver in direction south to historic Steveston, where we visit the famous Gulf of Georgia Cannery (optional). While strolling through the fish market we can see different styles of fishing boats coming in and sailing out to the Pacific Ocean.
